About Naturkraft Pathways

Natalie Fothergill
Nature-Based Therapeutic Practitioner
Founder of Naturkraft Pathways

This is a nature-based therapeutic space for those longing to slow down, reconnect, and return to themselves. Especially in times of transition, overwhelm, or inner unravelling.

Rooted in a deep love of wild landscapes and grounded in over a decade of experience in therapeutic support roles, Naturkraft Pathways bridges nature-based therapeutic practices with trauma-aware, holistic approaches to wellbeing. This is a space to soften, breathe, and remember your place within the living world.

The name Naturkraft – meaning the power of nature – reflects a simple truth: nature has an innate capacity to soothe the nervous system, restore balance, and guide us home to ourselves. Through relationship with land, season, and body, we are gently reminded that we belong.

This work has grown from my own journey of rewilding. Stepping away from disconnection and burnout, and returning to presence, meaning, and inner steadiness through time outdoors. It is a path I continue to walk, and one I share through writing, seasonal practices, and guided therapeutic work.

My Approach

My work is relational, trauma-aware, and grounded in the understanding that meaningful change arises through safety, rhythm, and connection – not force or fixing.

I hold a Certificate in Integrated Systemic Therapy (Middlesex University) and am currently training in Advanced Wilderness Therapeutic Approaches. My practice is further informed by training in nature-based therapy and nature connectedness, including courses completed through the University of Derby.

My approach weaves together nature-based therapeutic principles, somatic and nervous-system-informed work, trauma-aware and attachment-sensitive support, and mindfulness rooted in seasonal attunement.

I offer one-to-one and group sessions, both online and in natural environments, blending reflective dialogue with embodied connection and gentle awareness practices.

Areas I Support

I work with people who find themselves in a season of transition: when something no longer fits, but what comes next is not yet clear. This can show up as overwhelm, emotional reactivity, burnout, anxiety, low mood, or a sense of disconnection from self, body, or direction.

My work supports individuals navigating life transitions, identity shifts, and periods of emotional or nervous system dysregulation, often shaped by earlier experiences and relational patterns. Grounded in nature-based therapy and trauma-informed practice, I offer a slower, embodied approach that supports reconnection, regulation, and a renewed sense of meaning.

This work honours the tenderness of being human: the seasons of transition we find ourselves in, the identities we soften, release, and grow into, and the stories our bodies hold.

What is Nature Therapy?

Nature Therapy (also known as ecotherapy) supports emotional and psychological wellbeing through intentional connection with the natural world. Rather than working solely in a clinical room, this work unfolds outdoors where possible, or indoors with nature-based practices as a grounding anchor. This is not about fixing yourself.
It is about remembering your wholeness, listening to your nervous system’s wisdom, and finding your place within the wider living world.

What I Offer

  • A steady, supportive presence

  • Over a decade of therapeutic and community experience

  • Trauma-aware, person-centred care

  • Deep respect for your pace, boundaries, and inner knowing

  • Spaces that are gentle, inclusive, grounded, and real

This work unfolds slowly and with care, shaped by the seasons and guided by what feels supportive rather than rushed. Naturkraft Pathways is an evolving space and one that invites reflection, reconnection, and a deepening relationship with both self and the living world. You are welcome to take your time here, returning when it feels right, and beginning wherever you feel drawn.
